The panel ’Turn up the Music, Break the Mold', organized as a part of Beyoğlu Jazz Festival, aims to offer a solution-oriented approach to addressing gender-based inequalities in the music industry. Led by researcher and filmmaker Özden Demir, the panel will feature speakers from the Sista Sound, Kreşendo, Sister Music Chain, and Hit Like a Girl collectives, who will share their experiences in the industry and discuss the projects they support to empower women in music.
